I received great care on the kingfisher ward once I got there.
The only issue I had the ward wasn't ready for me so I spent hours in the recovery room watching patient come in and out.
Overall that didn't affect my stay and I would recommend to friends and family

The staff for the whole of my journey from the staff in the admissions lounge, the surgical team and the ward staff on Kingfisher ward were professional, efficient and delivered a high standard of care.
My operation was cancelled on my day of admission but the cancellation was promptly followed up and I had my surgery within 4 days of the initial appointment!
The discharge nurse enabled me to go home swiftly and made arrangements for my husband to pick up my medication later that day.

My care was second to none therefore I cannot think of any improvements that would have made my stay & care any better. The menu choices were good as was the food. All the staff I met during my stay, including domestic, porters, nurses and doctors and physio were very helpful and friendly and I am truly grateful for the care I was given by them all, including follow up appointments and physio since my operation in late July.
